Agrodis, gardens on slabs
Enables the development of greens on buildings’ flat roofs or the covering of motorways and parking lots.
The AGRODIS system is the state-of-the-art technique of the contemporary landscape architecture.
Thanks to a 41% weight saving in comparison with a traditional vegetable soil / gravel system, the AGRODIS system enables, in total security, the embellishment of various built areas.
Very easy to implement, it also enables to create undulations simply by adding polystyrene blocks.
It is a specific system which associates a draining process with a special lite muddy blend, the Agromousse can withhold water very well hence it increases the vegetables’resistance to drought.
Draining process
- The drainage, high density expanded polystyrene plate,
- The filtration, garden filter made from unwoven to prevent particles’infiltration,
- The digging in net made from polyethylene, it is rot-proof.
Muddy blend
- Agromousse flakes, an organic resin foam for the lightening, the water withholding and limits the soils' drying.
- Agrosténe, polystyrene marbles created for the airing and the lightening of the soil.
In supplement to the vegetable soil, this blend improves the soils and the substrates.
-
It offers:
- a decrease of the soils’ density nearly 30%
- a better watertightness and airtightness
- a redampening capacity
- a gradual restitution of water
Thanks to this system, the vegetables’ roots get their supplies from Agromousse according to their needs, it hence limits the watering’s frequency.
